Job Description
Our client, a physician-owned practice improving patient outcomes in skilled nursing facilities across the country, is hiring a Vice President of Business Development New Business. The Business Development Vice President is responsible for supporting all business development activities, specifically focused on the newly established wound care division. The VP will support the leadership team in developing objectives and strategies for introducing wound care into the sub-acute rehabilitation setting. Develop and execute comprehensive programs for engaging prospect facilities. Initial geographic focus will be in Florida and Illinois.
General Responsibilities:
Strategy and Development
- Work with CEO and leadership to develop new marketing and communications strategies and programs targeted to facilities.
- Leverage competitive analysis, internal sales data, and physician insights to influence or validate business decisions.
- Help develop prospect providers and lead acquisition campaigns.
- Partner closely with leadership on new concepts, positioning, development, communication of benefits, and differentiation.
- Stay abreast of competitive activity, and service innovations.
Go-To-Market Planning and Execution
- Execute effective campaigns targeted at facilities in order to acquire viable leads for the business development team. Current geographic focus are Florida and Illinois.
- Work closely with Digital, and Education to ensure consistent messaging across all consumer touch points.
- Utilize existing relationships to introduce the wound care division to new and established clients
- Ensure quality control via thorough editing and proofreading
- Presentation and Communication with the Organization/Field
Reporting and Analysis
- Collection and Analysis of data from 3rd party vendors for prospect identification, cultivation and solicitation.
- Working within CRM to create and maintain business development reports, campaigns and strategies for recruitment.
- Produce Excel and PowerPoint content for tracking and presenting business development progression.
- Explore new marketing and communications channels with potential for lead acquisition
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree, required. Master’s Degree, preferred.
- 5+years working with SNF”s and Assisted Living Facilities
- Strong Relationships building business within WOUND CARE in SNF ‘s REQUIRED
- Target markets currently are Florida and Illinois. Nationwide opportunities for expansion.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in healthcare industry
- 5+ years of progressive business development experience.
- Self-starter who takes a proactive approach to ensure all deliverables are met. Exhibits strong leadership and project and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities without losing attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Highly resourceful with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Experience/adaptability to a small, fast-growing entrepreneurial environment.
