Description: Hiring a Senior Revenue Cycle Analyst for a top academic medical center. The Senior Revenue Cycle Analyst will provide high-level analytical support and project management for the revenue cycle leadership of the organization and assist in achieving the organization’ s financial goals.  The Senior Revenue Cycle Analyst will work with directors and managers and the corporate analytics Team to measure revenue cycle performance, identify areas of improvement, and project manage new initiatives. This includes collaborating with Business Intelligence (IT), Revenue Cycle Systems (Epic), Corporate Management, and operational teams to maintain, develop, enhance, and implement reporting tools, metrics, and reports. Additionally, the Senior Revenue Cycle Analyst may also provide analytical support for front-end Operations, capacity and access initiatives, productivity monitoring, and clinical quality initiatives. 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze revenue cycle reports to summarize performance.
  • Build reports from multiple sources to evaluate data and identify opportunities to increase revenue
  • Identify trends and develop work plans with Management to address issues.
  • Assist managed care compliance team to analyze payer reimbursement levels to determine if payments are made at appropriate rates.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Integrity, Credentialing, and Managed Care to identify issues and trends related to revenue cycle opportunities.
  • Act as a liaison between Reporting and Dashboard teams. Assist in the maintenance and troubleshooting of reports, databases, and dashboards
  • Work with Med Center and IT divisions, including but not limited to EPIC and EPIC add-on systems, to explore new reports, metrics, and methodologies to support FGP activity.
  • Disseminate information regarding contents and functionality of the data warehouse and BO reporting system and associated tools to extract, analyze, and report data.


Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a business, computer science, or healthcare related major.


Experience Requirements:

  • 3-4 years with Revenue Cycle analysis experience, with increased responsibilities.


Desired Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and other MS Office software.
  • Knowledge of Tableau a plus.
  • Familiarity with Business Objects or other Business Intelligence system a plus
