Job Description
Our client, a nationally renowned academic medical center and integrated healthcare delivery system, is currently hiring a Senior Union Relations Manager. This important position will assist with the oversight of the function at all campuses and off- site facilities, serving as a key spokesperson and negotiator for several selected collective bargaining agreements.
The Employee & Labor Relations Manager provides guidance and advice to Management and Union and non-union associates in the interpretation of union contracts and system policies to ensure compliance, ensure favorable working conditions between Management personnel and union/non-union associates to avoid grievances, arbitrations or litigations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred; Associate degree required.
- 5 years related experience required
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of Federal, State and City Laws e.g., FMLA, ADA, ESSTA, PFL
- Knowledge and experience conducting investigations
- Knowledge and experience with negotiations of unions and Collective Bargaining Agreements
Salary: $95,000 - $110,000. This salary range is not a guarantee. The actual salary will be based on qualifications, experience, and education and could fall outside of this range. Contact us for more information.
