Job Description

Our client, a leading healthcare organization committed to delivering exceptional patient care and operational excellence, is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst - Decision Support. Developed for professionals with a strategic mindset and analytical expertise, this role plays a vital part in empowering hospital leadership through accurate financial reporting and insightful analysis. The Senior Financial Analyst will support critical decision-making processes by producing timely, relevant, and detailed financial reports, leveraging advanced analytical tools and systems to identify cost-saving opportunities, improve resource utilization, and enhance overall financial performance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage comprehensive financial reports using EPSi, Tableau, Data Bricks, Alteryx, SQL, and Excel.
- Support the monthly costing close process, including revenue and expense analysis, departmental reviews, and cost center creation.
- Contribute to hospital-wide projects such as value-based management, physician resource utilization, and benchmarking activities.
- Summarize complex analytical findings with clear explanations and actionable recommendations.
- Design and execute analytical frameworks for large data sets while exercising independent judgment.
- Communicate proactively regarding potential issues or barriers impacting deliverables.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and data integrity enhancements.
- Take initiative in adopting new tasks, demonstrating creative problem-solving approaches.
Requirements: Most have Healthcare Experience/ Onsite in NYC
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Mathematics, or Management Information Systems.
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in healthcare finance, accounting, or related fields with strong analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid understanding of healthcare operations and financial principles.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and proficiency with Access.
- Familiarity with decision-support and cost-accounting systems such as EPSi.
