Description: Hiring a full-time Senior Director of Expense Management with a leading hospital network located in the New York Metro area. The health system has an excellent reputation and is now focused on improving its value analysis and supply chain operations, with the goal of establishing a best-in-class team. We are looking for someone who has a thorough understanding of the balance between cost quality and outcomes and who can create a relationship within all levels of the organization. In this role, you will lead the value analysis teams to garner physician and stakeholder engagement around product utilization reviews and opportunities for standardization.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate contract agreements and documents, negotiate terms.
- Establishes and ensures the implementation of the annual cost savings goals.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to value analysis team members to improve their ability to conduct quantitative analysis for direct and indirect savings opportunities.
- Provides mentorship to sourcing and value analysis team members to improve their ability to conduct detailed quantitative analysis of direct and in-direct savings opportunities.
- Establishes, reviews. and revises performance standards for assigned team members, interacting appropriately to set goals, communicate expectations, and provide feedback.
- Responsible for hiring talent to foster innovation within value analysis and diversity of thought and experience. Creating a culture of continuous learning to prosper in an ever-changing business environment.
- Creates relationships with all levels of organization to identify and implement cost savings strategies.
- Maintains the policies and procedures that govern the procurement process, serving as an expert resource on the procurement strategy.
- Align cost reductions strategies with clinical objectives.
- Responsible for ensuring teams have the resources needed to achieve annual goals.
- Continuously identifies operational and standardization efficiencies to ensure maximum projects can be completed each calendar year.
Requirements:
- Graduate degree preferred, bachelor’s degree acceptable
- CMRP, preferred
