Job Description

Our client, a premier patient-focused integrated healthcare delivery platform providing the highest level of quality care, is hiring a Director of Business Intelligence and Operations. The Director of Business Intelligence and Operations will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making across a large, privately held, integrated multi-specialty practice offering urgent care, primary care, and specialty care services. MUST BE ABLE TO BE ONSITE.  This leadership position will oversee the organization's business intelligence and operational strategy, focusing on defining and driving strategic, operational, and organizational improvements to achieve business objectives. The role offers significant professional development potential and direct collaboration with the Chief Operating Officer and other executive leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

  • Lead and manage the Business Intelligence and Operations department, including analysts and project coordinators.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business intelligence strategy aligned with the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Partner with leadership to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop dashboards, reporting tools, and analytics solutions that measure and improve performance across the organization.

Data Analysis & Insights

  • Utilize advanced analytics to deliver actionable insights that support clinical, operational, and financial goals.
  • Lead data modeling and forecasting efforts to guide strategic decision-making and resource allocation.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across reporting platforms and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee the execution of operational improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Drive projects to optimize workflows, enhance productivity, and improve patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative leaders to identify opportunities for operational efficiency and innovation.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of analysts and project coordinators.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the team.
  • Ensure staff are equipped with the tools and training needed to leverage data effectively.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the COO and leadership team, providing insights and recommendations to shape organizational strategy.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across departments to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear, concise, and actionable manner.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and SQL, with a strong understanding of data warehousing and advanced analytics techniques.
  • Analytical Expertise: Proven ability to analyze complex data and translate it into actionable strategies and insights.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present data to diverse audiences.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership background with experience building, managing, and mentoring high-performing teams.
