Description: Hiring a Senior Application System Analyst for a large medical group.  The Senior Application System Analyst will have 5-8 years’ system analysis and design experience.  Must be able to work in a team environment.    

Responsibilities:

  • Provides support of daily and ad-hoc requests regarding various applicable clinical and business systems.
  • Troubleshoot problems and questions from end users, prioritizing tasks, logging all system issues and tracked through the resolution stage while escalating critical issues to management
  • Performs in-depth analysis of workflows, data, system details, and other technical issues associated with the application. Analyzes new functionality in releases to recommend how it should be used to prioritize and implement requested changes to the system
  • Provide project supervision and task oversight for system enhancements assigned to project resources as well as escalating vendor issues for missed deadlines and deliverables
  • Meet with senior stakeholders and operations staff to assist in the development of efficient workflows
  • Experience gathering specifications, conducting research, software development, testing and providing user support
  • Performs in-depth analysis of workflows, data, system details, and other technical issues associated with the application
  • Analyze new functionality in releases to recommend how it should be used to prioritize and implement requested changes to the system
  • Ensures that current and future regulatory agency compliance standards are being adhered
  • Leads system enhancement testing (i.e. new modules, upgrades, product installs

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or relevant work experience and applicable EPIC certifications
  • 3-5 Years in-depth EPIC experience, Epic certified
  • PMP certification a plus

Experience Requirements:

  • Prior experience with PeopleSoft HCM or Finance release 9.2 or higher

Desired Skills:

  • Expert user - Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project and Visio
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
