Job Description
Senior Revenue Cycle Manager, Anesthesia - Hybrid Role
Are you ready to take the lead in driving operational excellence and financial success within a dynamic healthcare setting? We are seeking a Senior Revenue Cycle Manager to focus on Anesthesia services. Reporting to the Senior Director of the Central Business Office (CBO) for Anesthesia, you will play a pivotal role in managing A/R follow-up and denials while building strong relationships with patients, providers, and the clinical department. This role provides a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the financial health of our organization while developing innovative solutions that support both clinical and administrative teams. With flexibility to work remotely and just one day a month on-site, you'll enjoy a balanced work environment while contributing to high-level operational success.
As the single point of contact for revenue cycle matters, you'll lead a team dedicated to maximizing collections, optimizing cash flow, and achieving financial goals.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, hire, train, and coach a team responsible for ensuring billing and A/R targets are met.
- Serve as the in-house expert for revenue cycle issues, offering proactive management and communication with the Anesthesia Department.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships between the CBO and clinical teams, driving improvements in claims and denials management.
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Oversee billing operations to ensure accurate, timely processing according to institutional and billing policies.
- Collaborate with leadership to address operational challenges, support revenue cycle initiatives, and spearhead special projects.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of healthcare or physician practice business operations experience, with deep knowledge of revenue cycle management.
- BA/BS degree required.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of motivating teams and achieving results.
- Advanced critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Outstanding communication and organizational skills, with the ability to thrive in a flexible, fast-paced environment.
