Description: Hiring a Revenue Integrity Manager for a world-class, patient-centered, integrated, academic medical center. The Revenue Integrity Manager will report to the Associate Director of Revenue. The Revenue Integrity Manager will directly manage the Revenue Integrity Unit to improve coding, develop project plans, gather/analyze data and improve billing processes while providing team leadership, mentoring and supervision. The Revenue Integrity Manager will work closely with Billing Office teams, practice managers/administrators, revenue cycle managers, account managers and revenue cycle staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in development and facilitation of staff work plans
  • Ensure data collection and analyses are completed on time
  • Evaluate/mitigate risks and triage workflow issues
  • Monitor statistics and KPI’ s to identify improvement opportunities
  • Develop and maintain a work plan to reconcile charges
  • Monitor open encounters
  • Conduct internal audits and review activities to improve the revenue cycle and coding integrity
  • Benchmark against other Epic clients, Vizient Participants, and other entities
  • Implement new systems/tools in conjunctions with IT, operations, and practices
  • Monitor Metrics and find areas for improvement
  • Participate in meetings and workflow development sessions
  • Identify change management needs
  • Manage Revenue Integrity Unit meetings and communicate progress/issues to Associate Director, Revenue Initiatives
  • Coordinate and facilitate CPT change initiatives
  • Communicate practice updates to the Business Administrators
  • Track results for RIU Scorecard
  • Participate in assigned workgroups / Share policies and procedures as needed
  • Discuss decision points with Business Office Leadership and Central Administration
  • Work with management to develop operational training programs
  • Direct provider training initiatives

Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Certified Professional Coder Preferred

Experience Requirements:
  • Requires 5+ years in a billing office or healthcare setting with prior experience of healthcare finance, operations, medical reimbursement and managed care contracts

Desired Skills:
  • Thorough knowledge of practice management and revenue cycle
