Job Description
Our client, a busy and thriving cosmetic & medical dermatology practice located on the Upper East Side, is hiring a Registered Nurse. The ideal candidate would be someone who is self-motivated, interested in cosmetics and a great team player with excellent communication skills. Experience in dermatology or plastic surgery is preferred. Fabulous opportunity for someone who enjoys being part of an incredible team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the physician in the performance of skin exams, monitor and record a patient's medical history, and be aware of relevant test results.
- Assist the dermatologist with outpatient surgical procedures.
- Provide pre- and post-operative care instructions for patients who are undergoing treatment for a variety of skin conditions.
- Assist with cosmetic procedures, such as fillers, toxins, lasers, sclerotherapy, PRP.
- Educate patients on skincare, including sunscreens.
- Assist with skincare product sales.
Schedule:
- Full-time, 4 days a week, 10 hour days, Monday – Thursday 8am – 6pm
