Job Description
Our client, a well-regarded community hospital serving a diverse population in New York City, is seeking an experienced Radiology Supervisor (CT/IR) to oversee operations within their CT and Interventional Radiology (IR) departments. This leadership role offers a flexible work schedule and the opportunity to manage a dedicated team of eight technicians in a 24/7 CT department and an 8-hour daily IR department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily workflow of the CT and IR departments.
- Manage staff scheduling, including overseeing shifts and overtime to ensure seamless operations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to radiology technologists, ensuring compliance with hospital protocols and best practices.
- Maintain quality control standards and ensure adherence to safety regulations.
- Collaborate with hospital leadership to enhance efficiency and patient care in imaging services.
Qualifications:
- Certified and licensed CT/IR Technologist with relevant experience.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a hospital radiology setting.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage schedules, staffing, and workflow effectively.
