Our client, a well-regarded community hospital serving a diverse population in New York City, is seeking an experienced Radiology Supervisor (Diagnostic Xray) to oversee operations within their Radiology departments. This leadership role offers a flexible work schedule and the opportunity to manage a dedicated team of eight technicians in a Diagnostic Xray department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily workflow of the Diagnostic Xray departments.
- Manage staff scheduling, including overseeing shifts and overtime to ensure seamless operations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to radiology technologists, ensuring compliance with hospital protocols and best practices.
- Maintain quality control standards and ensure adherence to safety regulations.
- Collaborate with hospital leadership to enhance efficiency and patient care in imaging services.
Qualifications:
- Certified and licensed Xray Technologist with relevant experience.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a hospital radiology setting is optional.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
