Job Description
Our client, a nationally recognized acute care hospital committed to excellence and community health, is hiring a Breast Imaging Radiologist. This opportunity is ideal for fellowship-trained breast imaging radiologists seeking a stable, fully onsite position in a vibrant hospital environment. The successful candidate will contribute to a dedicated team providing high-quality breast imaging services at White Plains Hospital, a top-ranked institution renowned for patient care and clinical excellence. This full-time or part-time role offers a rewarding environment with a focus on professional growth and impactful patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Fellowship training in Breast Imaging from an accredited program.
- Minimum 3–5 years of post-fellowship clinical experience.
- Demonstrated excellence in breast imaging interpretation and procedures.
- Interpret breast imaging studies, including mammography and breast ultrasound, and provide accurate assessments of breast conditions such as masses, calcifications, and abnormalities.
- Perform and interpret other breast imaging modalities as required.
- Collaborate with breast surgeons, oncologists, and multidisciplinary teams to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Perform image-guided breast procedures, including biopsies and aspirations as clinically indicated.
- Maintain adherence to hospital protocols, quality standards, and safety procedures.
- Engage in call rotation as required, ensuring availability for emergent cases outside of core hours.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification or eligibility in Radiology.
- Active New York medical license.
- Minimum fellowship training in Breast Imaging; experienced radiologists preferred.
- Willingness to work onsite only; no remote or hybrid arrangements.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to work scheduled hours between 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with required call coverage during and outside core hours.
- Additional certification in breast imaging, such as ACR BPA or similar, preferred.
