Job Description
Our client, a not-for-profit teaching hospital serving an ethnically diverse community in New York City, is hiring a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
Responsibilities:
- Work with a multidisciplinary team in an outpatient setting providing care to children and adolescents with broad range of mental health issues.
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations
- Make diagnosis
- Provide medication management to patients.
Requirements:
- Experience in behavioral health treating children and adolescents required but consideration will be given to those with interest in treating the population.
- NYS Professional Registered Nurse license required.
- NYS Nurse Practitioner Certification required.
- MSN in Psychiatry & Mental Health required at a minimum.
- Knowledge of electronic Medical Records Systems required.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
