Description: Hiring a Project Manager, PMP for a top academic medical center. The Project Manager will be involved with process improvement projects, product conversions and onboarding new services and entities.  The Project Manager, PMP will be someone with 2-5 years progressive experience in healthcare operations.  Travel is required throughout the tri-state area. 


  • Knowledge of healthcare operations needed
  • Support and maintain processes within the hospital’s network, to response to a rapidly changing healthcare environment and the ability to translate these changes into functional processes 
  • Manage project initiatives that achieve the vision of the hospital’s goal of an integrated delivery care system
  • Assist the Engineering department to provide consultation with system analysis and revised workflows to achieve optimal process outcomes for the hospital
  • Ensure the adoption of standardized practices, methodologies and measures to ensure quality service and support in the implementation of sound business processes and systems
  • Assist in the creation of a project management methodology that allows the hospital to improve customer service, achieve quality standards and service indicators' ability to translate business needs into process solutions
  • Travel to meet with senior stakeholders throughout the hospital network

Education Requirements:

  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Credentialed Project Management Professional (PMP) or in progress

Experience Requirements:

  • 2 to 5 years progressive experience in a complex healthcare or related environment

Desired Skills:

  • Ability to generate and manage project plans to support implementation objectives
  • Knowledge of computer systems and impact of workflow processes
  • Satisfactory combination of education/knowledge/experience.
  • Ability to communicate and document training plans, policies and procedures.
  • Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office, SharePoint, VISO and Project
  • Expertise in the Development and Management of Project Plans
  • Expertise in Business, Administrative and Clinical Processes and Standards preferred
  • Ability to design and generate operational and statistical reports
