Family Medicine Physician
Job Description
Our client, a prestigious and growing physician-led healthcare group in Long Island, NY, is hiring a Family Medicine Physician to join its dedicated team. Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive primary care services to patients across all ages.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses efficiently.
- Conduct routine wellness visits, health screenings, and preventive care initiatives.
- Manage ongoing patient care, coordinate specialist referrals, and ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and timely medical documentation.
- Collaborate effectively with clinical and administrative staff to promote high-quality patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
- Active or eligible for a New York medical license.
- Strong clinical proficiency, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Dedicated to delivering compassionate, patient-focused care.
- Prior exposure to value-based care models and quality improvement programs preferred
- Bilingual abilities or proficiency in additional languages preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical practice in a primary care setting preferred
- Ability to work onsite five days per week.
