Job Description
Our client, a not for profit teaching hospital serving an ethnically diverse residential neighborhood of New York City, is hiring an Otolaryngology Physician Assistant (PA).
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with doctors to practice medicine in the ear, nose, and throat specialty
- Review patient’s medical histories, making diagnoses, giving treatments, and performing patient assessments
- Manage a patient’s care plan, order tests, and counsel and educate patients
- Prescribe medications, conduct physical examinations, record patient progress, research treatments to ensure the best patient care
- Participating in or conducting outreach programs to promote wellness or educate about disease management
Requirements:
- Current New York State registration as a Physician Assistant
- Current New York State Physician Assistant License
- Current certification issues by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
