Job Description
Our client, a nationally renowned academic medical center and integrated healthcare delivery system, is currently hiring a Physician Assistant (PA) Vascular. Seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) to join the Vascular Surgery team for a blended night/day shift position. This role involves managing vascular consults and admissions, providing essential support to the primary service team. Comprehensive training provided to ensure confidence and competence in the role.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct general surgery consults and vascular consults during night and day shifts.
- Manage primary service responsibilities, including patient admissions and evaluations.
- Handle a manageable patient volume, averaging:
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient care.
- Blended Night/Day shift position
- No operating room (OR) responsibilities or surgical procedures.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current PA licensure in New York or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently during night shifts.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach to healthcare.
- Open to strong new graduates
