Title: Physician Assistant (PA), Radiology
Location: Bronx, NY

Description: Our client, a nationally renowned academic medical center and integrated healthcare delivery system, is currently hiring a Physician Assistant (PA), Radiology. This person will expedite patients throughout Radiology in a timely fashion with primary focus in Emergency Room Cat scan and Direct Radiology Imaging (ED) room and MRI department.
Job Responsibilities:
- Inpatient management and emergency department facilitator.
- Obtain relevant history, perform a complete or focused physical exam and procures; previous diagnostic testing results.
- Emergency treatment of any/all contrast adverse reactions resulting from IV administration of same, including follow up
- Occasional Interventional procedure participation in the monitoring and care of acutely ill patients.
- Respond to patient emergencies
- Schedule: 7:30am - 4:00pm M-F, with alternating weekends.
Job Requirements:
- Must be a graduate of an approved PA program.
- Licensed and registered in NYS.
- Must pass National Certification Exam and must pass National Recertification Exam every six years.
- Must obtain 100 credits of approved CME every two years.
