Title: Physician Assistant (PA) Nuclear Medicine

Description: Our client, a nationally renowned academic medical center and integrated healthcare delivery system, is currently hiring a Physician Assistant (PA) Nuclear Medicine . They are looking for a strong PA to join their Nuclear Medicine team.
Responsibilities:
- Managing and performing Cardiovascular Nuclear Medicine stress testing (exercise and pharmacologic)
- Overseeing other cardiovascular nuclear medicine procedures
- Obtaining patient histories
- Performing appropriate medical assessments as needed for the procedure
- Assessing previous diagnostic testing results
- Conducting, assessing, and evaluating the cardiac stress tests
- Occasional assistance of staff dealing with other nuclear medicine patients that may involve the monitoring and care of acutely ill patients
- Schedule: 7:30am - 4:00pm, M-F
Job Requirements:
- Must be a graduate of an approved PA program.
- Licensed and registered in NYS.
- Must pass National Certification Exam and must pass National Recertification Exam every six years.
- Must obtain 100 credits of approved CME every two years.
