Description: Our client, a nationally renowned academic medical center and integrated healthcare delivery system, is currently hiring a Physician Assistant (PA) Neurology. Adult patients only.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with supervising physician
- Treat neurology patients, adults only
- No surgery
- Medical services rendered by physician assistants may include obtaining patient histories and performing physical examinations; writing progress notes, procedure notes and monthly care plans, ordering and/or performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures; formulating a diagnosis; developing and implementing a treatment plan; monitoring the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions; offering counseling and education; making appropriate referrals
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree required
- Master's degree preferred
- Graduate of an accredited Physician’s Assistant program
- Registered as a Physician’s Assistant in New York State
- NCCPA certified
