Our client, a busy and expanding neuro-spine practice known for its commitment to expert patient care and innovative treatment approaches, is hiring a Physician Assistant, Neurosurgery. Join a dynamic team dedicated to enhancing patient access and surgical outcomes by supporting neurosurgeons within a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment. This role offers the opportunity to work across two prominent locations, providing diverse clinical experiences and the potential for professional growth in neurosurgery and spine care.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a clinical extension of the neurosurgeon, helping to increase patient volume and optimize care delivery.
- Work primarily in the outpatient setting, with a focus on clinic-based patient management, and support surgical procedures as needed.
- Cover occasional weekend phone calls, handling low-volume emergency cases.
- Practice across two sites, contributing to both office-based and surgical patient care.
- Collaborate effectively with the surgical team to improve workflow and patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- Licensed Physician Assistant in New York State.
- Experience in neurosurgery, spine surgery, or related surgical specialties is highly preferred.
- Ability to work independently while aligning with the clinical goals of the practice.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Interest in research and continuous practice development is a plus.
