Job Description
Our client, a provider of exceptional primary and specialty care services at multiple locations in the New York Metropolitan area, is hiring an Interventional Cardiology Physician Assistant (PA). The Interventional Cardiology Physician Assistant (PA) will be responsible for the management of Diagnostic and Interventional (Coronary Angioplasty and Structural Heart) patients in an outpatient and inpatient setting.
Responsibilities:
- Performing history and physical exams with review of pertinent lab data
- Obtaining informed consent for procedures
- Managing and discharging pre and post procedure patients in the Ambulatory Heart Center
- Managing designated post interventional patients in a telemetry unit and expediting their next day discharge
- Position is based at the Moses Campus. May move between campuses as necessary.
- Schedule: 3-day work week, 12.5 hour shifts, 10am-10:30 pm, no weekends, no call
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Graduate of an accredited PA program
- Physician Assistant License by New York State and certified by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
