Job Description
Title: Physician Assistant PA Acute Pediatrics
Location: Westchester County NY

Description: Our client, a pediatric skilled care facility, is hiring a Physician Assistant PA Acute Pediatrics to join their growing team of pediatricians and subspecialty providers in the care and treatment of children and young adults with complex medical illness.
Responsibilities:
- Provide primary care services
- Perform clinical assessments of children for acute illness or change in status
- Order medications and ensure proper administration
- Provide emergency services for residents as needed
- Address abnormal laboratory results and document assessment and plans
- Order and arrange transfer of residents to acute care facilities as indicated, including provision of written consultation and telephone call to receiving ED
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8AM- 4PM (Flexible), 37.5-hour work week
Requirements:
- Completion of NYS-approved program for training of physician assistant
- Minimum Bachelor of Science program/degree in Physician Assistant studies
- Registration required with New York State as Physician Assistant or Specialist Assistant.
- Certification with National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
