Job Description
Our client, a high-performing rehabilitation team affiliated with a world-class rehabilitation hospital in the New York Metro area, is hiring multiple outpatient Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs). These roles offer the opportunity to work in modern, patient-centered clinics across Yonkers, White Plains, Purchase, Mamaroneck, West Nyack, Scarsdale, and Mount Vernon. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a nationally recognized system known for innovation, research, and excellence in rehabilitation medicine. The team promotes a culture of mentorship, flexibility, and professional growth, supporting clinicians at every stage of their careers. These positions offer consistent one-on-one patient care, 45-minute treatment sessions, and manageable caseloads in a supportive environment known for low burnout, high therapist retention, and a strong commitment to clinical quality.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based care under the supervision of licensed Physical Therapists.
- Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans for a diverse outpatient population.
- Support patients through therapeutic interventions and document treatment outcomes in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Communicate effectively with supervising PTs, patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Contribute to a positive clinic culture focused on clinical excellence, patient satisfaction, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current New York State PTA license (or eligibility to obtain one).
- At least 1 year of outpatient experience preferred; strong new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.
- A collaborative and patient-focused approach to care.
