Job Description
Our client, a large academic medical center in the New York Metro area, is hiring a Pediatrician.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care of children from age’s newborn through adolescence, as well as young adults.
- Diagnose and treat conditions specific to young children and young adults and treat illnesses, care for minor injuries, and treat infectious disease.
- Maintain accurate medical records of the physical, behavioral, and mental health in young patients, and address concerns and issues.
- Monitor patients’ growth and developmental milestones, advise parents and guardians on their children’s health, safety, and nutritional needs, as well as fitness goals.
- Clinical supervision of Family Medicine residents on rotation.
Requirements:
- MD or DO degree
- Board Certification (or eligibility) in Pediatrics
- Licensed to practice medicine in New York State
- D.E.A. Registration
