Pediatrician
Job Description
Our client, a well-established and growing multi-site medical group serving the Staten Island community, is actively seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatrician to join their dedicated team. This is an outstanding opportunity to work in a supportive outpatient setting with a manageable patient volume and a focus on quality care. New graduates are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive primary care to pediatric patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and preventive services
- Perform routine wellness exams and monitor developmental milestones
- Evaluate patient health status and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals as needed
- Prescribe and manage treatment plans, including medications, therapies, and vaccinations
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families to explain diagnoses, test results, and treatment options
- Refer patients to specialists or other practitioners when necessary
- Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough medical documentation
- Participate in team-based care and contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives
- Communicate on an ongoing basis with other health care providers and other staff on all aspects of the health needs of patients.
- Complete all necessary paperwork connected with duties, including progress notes in the medical records.
- Patient load on average is 18-21 patients per day
- Full time Monday through Friday
- 100% outpatient
Education Requirements:
- MD or DO
- BC/BE in Pediatrics
- NY State Medical License
- DEA
