Description: Our client, a premier academic medical center in New York City, is hiring a Pediatric Neurologist.
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical care to Pediatric Neurology patients
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a variety of neurological conditions in pediatric patients, such as epilepsy, cerebral palsy, developmental delays, headaches, and neuromuscular disorders
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including pediatricians, neurosurgeons, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans for patients
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as EEG, MRI, and genetic testing, to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning
- Provide family-centered care by actively involving families in the decision-making process and providing them with education on their child's condition and management strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records, following hospital policies and procedures
Requirements:
- MD or DO
- Board certified or eligible in Pediatric Neurology
- Licensed to practice in the State of New York
