Our client, a leading healthcare organization committed to delivering comprehensive women's health services, is hiring an Obstetrician Gynecologist (OBGYN) Physician, Lead. This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled obstetrician and gynecologist to lead a dynamic department dedicated to exceptional patient care and clinical excellence. The Obstetrician Gynecologist (OBGYN) Physician, Lead will be responsible for overseeing clinical operations, managing staff, and advancing the organization's strategic goals in women's health. This position is integral to the organization’s succession planning, supporting future leadership development within the department.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert clinical care to patients, ensuring high standards of quality and safety.
- Lead and supervise the OBGYN team, including nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other clinical staff.
- Develop and implement departmental policies, protocols, and best practices.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic planning, including participation in the ongoing leadership succession plan.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Mentor and support professional development of department team members.
- Participate in community outreach and educational initiatives to promote women's health.
Requirements:
- MD or DO degree with board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Valid state medical license and DEA certification.
- Proven leadership experience in a clinical or department management role preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and team-building skills.
- Ability to manage operational and clinical workflows effectively.
- Previous experience in a multi-disciplinary or hospital-based setting.
