Job Description
Our client, a dynamic and expanding neuro-spine practice dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care, is hiring a Nurse Practitioner, Neurosurgery to join their dedicated team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated healthcare professional to extend the capacity of neurosurgeons, enhance patient access, and thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will function with a degree of independence, adapt to the practice’s specific clinical approach, and contribute to both outpatient and surgical settings across multiple locations.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a clinical extension of the neurosurgeon, assisting in increasing patient volume and optimizing care delivery.
- Provide comprehensive outpatient care, with future involvement in surgical procedures as the practice grows.
- Maintain a presence across two sites
- Occasionally participate in weekend phone call coverage, handling emergent patient needs.
- Collaborate closely with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient management and continuity of care.
Requirements:
- Current NYS licensure as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Experience in neurosurgery, spine surgery, or related surgical specialties.
- Ability to work independently while aligning with the clinical goals of the practice.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Interest in research or ongoing practice development is a plus.
