Job Description
Our client, a high-volume pain management clinic in Massachusetts, is hiring a Nurse Practitioner. We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join the team in providing exceptional care to patients. As a leader in interventional pain medicine, the clinic specializes in developing individualized and compassionate approaches to treating acute and chronic pain using leading-edge and minimally invasive procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Providing treatments, injections, and chronic pain procedures
- Managing medication refills and building long-term patient relationships
- Seeing 25-30 patients daily
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Participating in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on best practices
Requirements:
- A Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctoral degree in Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in Massachusetts
- 1-2 years of experience in pain management or a related field
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with chronic pain management and interventional procedures
- Knowledge of pharmacology and medication management
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs) and practice management systems
- DEA license (reimbursement under consideration)
- Malpractice coverage
- Ability to work 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday, with some flexibility to accommodate scheduling needs
