Job Description
Our client, a leading healthcare organization dedicated to high-quality patient care and professional development, is hiring a Nurse Educator (RN). This pivotal role involves designing and implementing curriculum to enhance the clinical competencies of nursing staff across various departments. With a focus on fostering educational excellence and continuous improvement, the Nurse Educator will play a crucial part in maintaining compliance standards and elevating the overall quality of care.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, update, and execute comprehensive nursing curricula tailored to departmental needs, including maternal-child and behavioral health specialties.
- Collaborate with nursing leadership to identify training needs and establish educational goals.
- Conduct staff education sessions, both virtually and in person, ensuring engagement and knowledge retention.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments and feedback.
- Assist in preparing staff for accreditation reviews and ongoing regulatory compliance.
- Maintain documentation related to training activities and certification requirements.
- Support new staff onboarding and orientation processes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in nursing education with a strong teaching background.
- Excellent curriculum development and instructional skills.
- Ability to create engaging training materials and adapt to diverse learning styles.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
