The successful candidate will play a vital role in diagnosing and supporting treatment planning for neurological conditions, contributing significantly to patient outcomes and organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret neuroimaging studies, including MRI, CT, and angiography, with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Provide consultative support to referring physicians and clinical teams regarding neuroimaging findings.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive patient management plans.
- Maintain meticulous documentation of imaging reports in the electronic medical record.
- Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives related to imaging protocols and patient safety.
- Support departmental operations, including contribution to case reviews and educational activities.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory, hospital, and HIPAA standards.
Requirements:
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neuroradiology.
- Eligible for or currently holding New York State medical licensure.
- Proven expertise in neuroimaging modalities, including MRI, CT, and angiographic procedures.
- Strong clinical judgment and commitment to high-quality patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative hospital-based environment.
