Job Description

Our client a large academic health system is hiring a Credentialing Coordinator.
Responsibilities:
  • Preparing, reviewing and maintaining the credentialing files for appointment and reappointment for the Health System's network
  • Ensure that all information meets or is in compliance with TJC, NCQA, federal, state, and city regulatory requirements when processing applications as well as the Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules and Regulations, Credentialing Policy and other related polices
  • Promote and enhance good communication and positive working relationships between facility administration and the Medical Staff

Requirements:
  • HS Degree or GED required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Highly motivated
  • Impeccable attention to detail and accuracy
  • Direct experience in privileging physician and mid-level providers
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in medical staff privileging required
  • Experience with ECHO software is highly desired
