Job Description
Our client is a fast-growing Accounts Receivables management company in need of an A/R Follow up Medical Biller. The A/R Follow-Up Medical Biller responsible for providing clear and detailed information regarding the status of insurance claims submitted to insurance companies.
Responsibilities:
- Log onto insurance carrier websites.
- Call insurance carriers for claim status.
- Take detailed notes.
- Document call notes utilizing an in-house system.
- Identify problems that has stalled the claim process.
- Take the necessary steps to overcome those problems.
- Verify and update member demographic information.
Requirements:
- Follow up experience
- Familiarity with insurance carriers
- Familiarity with insurance carrier websites.
- EPIC experience preferred.
- Hybrid opportunity / 1 day a week onsite
