Job Description

Our client, a nationally renowned academic medical center and integrated healthcare delivery system, is currently hiring a Human Resources Business Partner.

Responsibilities:
  • Support a care center/business unit/campus (business unit) to deliver a range of strategic human resources services that partner with the organization’s operations in meeting their business objectives and business initiatives. 
  • Actively involved in developing short and long range planning for the business units as the HRBP is fully dedicated to internal clients, their needs and their priorities.
  • Consults with management in handling changing staffing needs, business developments, employee relations and associates’ needs to increase the organization's effectiveness and/or efficiency, and/or to enable the organization to achieve its strategic goals. 
  • Provides guidance, expertise and coaching to leadership. 
  • Enlists and coordinates other appropriate Human Resources (HR) specialty services as needed.  
  • Strategically focused on partnering with the organization’s leadership team to drive results and spearhead outcomes. 
  • Leads and manages the people management related agenda for their business unit.
  • Champions and leads change management and manages the HR related internal and external collaborations.
  • Share the responsibility for the goals and outcomes.
  • Identifies and prepares development plans for key employees and high potential employees
  • Actively supports discussions and transfers best practices from different functions in and outside of the organization.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of the business unit, key employees and priorities. 
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred
  • 3+ years of Human Resources Generalist experience or 7+ years in one or more hospital specialty areas.
  • PHR/SPHR preferred
  • Demonstrated experience and success in helping business clients align human resources planning and business strategy. 
  • OD acumen or experience highly desired. 
  • Change management skills, strong business acumen, negotiation skills, analytical and problem solving skills are critical. 
  • Experiece with over 1,000+ employees preferred
  • Teaching, development and training approaches experience highly desirable. 
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously, switch gears instantly and operate in a sometimes ambiguous
Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000. The posted salary range is not a guarantee. The actual salary will be based on qualifications, experience, and education and could fall outside of this range.
