Job Description
Our client, a hospital pioneering compassionate end-of-life care for terminally ill adults, is hiring a compassionate and dedicated Hospice and Palliative Medicine Physician. Join a dynamic, interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. As a recognized leader in palliative care, they are committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals facing serious and life-limiting illnesses. The team includes experienced physicians, nurse practitioners, social workers, and other specialists who work collaboratively to provide comprehensive symptom management, emotional support, and guidance to patients and their families throughout their care journey.
We are seeking a fellowship-trained physician in Hospice and Palliative Medicine who is passionate about improving quality of life for patients and advancing the field of palliative care. The ideal candidate will bring clinical excellence, strong communication skills, and a deep commitment to compassionate care.
Required Skills:
- New York State License
- Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine or the American Board of Family
- Completion of a fellowship program in hospice and palliative medicine (optional)
- Practice, or have demonstrated substantially equivalent training and expertise
- Competent to care for patients suffering from advanced cancer
- Exhibits an ability and attitude relative to the spirit of caring and tradition as required by specific job duties and functions
- Medical degree from an approved educational institution
- Experience working in a palliative care setting
- Ability to work a 36.25-hour workweek, with flexibility to work additional hours as needed.
- Ability to provide evening and weekend coverage as needed.
