Job Description
Our client, an independent teaching hospital at the forefront of innovative medicine, is hiring a Geriatrician.
Responsibilities:
- Treat frail older patients with multiple comorbidities
- Work with a multi-disciplinary team of Geriatricians, nurses, social work, clerical and administrative staff.
- Teach medical interns who rotate through the Geriatric Service throughout the year.
- Faculty appointment commensurate with credentials, experience and qualifications.
Requirements:
- MD degree
- Board certified/board eligible in Geriatrics
- Valid New York State License, DEA and Medicaid number.
- Experience in research and/or quality improvement preferred.
- Excellent clinical and communication skills
- Work well in a team
