Job Description
Our client, a rapidly expanding multi-specialty healthcare organization with a strong presence in the region, is hiring an Executive Director to lead their operational and strategic initiatives as the organization continues its impressive growth trajectory. This pivotal leadership role offers an opportunity to shape the future of a dynamic and diversified healthcare enterprise.
Responsibilities
- Provide executive leadership across operations, finance, revenue cycle, and human resources departments, overseeing the overall performance and strategic direction in an ambulatory setting.
- Collaborate closely with the Board of Directors to develop and implement long-term organizational goals for continued and expanded services.
- Drive operational excellence by streamlining workflows, optimizing resource allocation, and managing change effectively amidst rapid expansion.
- Lead the integration of acquisitions, including new facilities in the NYC area including orthopedic practices and other multispecialty services, ensuring seamless transitions and sustained growth.
- Manage and motivate senior leaders such as the Directors of Operations, Revenue Cycle, Finance, and HR, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Act as a change manager, adept at navigating change fatigue and maintaining team morale during periods of transformation.
- Cultivate a visionary approach to facility growth, clinical excellence, and operational scalability, positioning the organization for sustainable success.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to lead large, diverse healthcare teams across multiple sites and drive organizational success through strategic planning and execution.
- Strong background in healthcare acquisitions, integrations, and scaling operations for enterprise-level organizations.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Expertise in change management and guiding healthcare organizations through complex transformations, including expansions, acquisitions, and integrations. Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Experience developing and implementing enterprise ambulatory strategies focused on access, quality, growth, and operational sustainability.
- Comprehensive understanding of healthcare operations, including finance, revenue cycle, HR, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven ability to manage multi-specialty outpatient or ambulatory care settings and oversee practice transitions during periods of growth.
- Ability to drive cross-functional integration between clinical, administrative, and financial teams to align goals and outcomes.
- Willingness to travel as needed to oversee multi-site operations and organizational initiatives.
- Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive senior leadership experience in healthcare management, with a proven track record in executive roles.
