Endocrinologist Opportunity at a Leading Academic Medical Center in the NYC Metropolitan Area
Are you a dedicated Endocrinologist looking to advance your career in a dynamic academic setting? Our client, a renowned academic medical center in the New York Metro area, is seeking a skilled Endocrinologist to join their esteemed team. This is a unique opportunity to practice in both hospital and state-of-the-art outpatient settings, making a significant impact within a patient-centered, top-quality healthcare network.
Responsibilities:
- Analyzing, examining, and investigating patients and their medical histories for sign and symptoms of hormonal imbalances.
- Advising, ordering, performing tests, and interpreting their results.
- Discussing diagnosis with patients, explaining treatment options and giving advice on medications, lifestyle and dietary changes, and other preventative measures.
- Supporting patients with serious or complex endocrine conditions.
- Academic Involvement: Contribute to the education of future healthcare professionals by mentoring medical students and residents.
- 70/30 mix of ambulatory/inpatient cases.
Requirements:
- MD or DO
- Board-Certified in Endocrinology
- NYS-license
- Expertise in managing complex endocrine conditions.
- Strong diagnostic, assessment, and treatment skills, with a patient-centered approach.
- Motivated team player with the ability to work collaboratively across specialties.
- Proficiency in Medical Spanish is a plus.
