Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Regulatory Affairs Department, ensuring compliance and continuous regulatory readiness.
  • Lead quality assurance initiatives, address regulatory challenges, and implement sustainable performance improvement measures.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, translating complex regulations into actionable strategies.
  • Monitor and report on regulatory data, offering insights and solutions that promote patient and public safety.
  • Drive training and development programs, fostering a culture of compliance and excellence across the organization.

What You'll Bring:

  • Visionary Leadership: A strategic mindset with the ability to inspire and guide teams in achieving regulatory excellence.
  • Expertise: A background in healthcare compliance, risk management, or regulatory affairs, supported by a Juris Doctor, Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: Proven track record in leading regulatory initiatives within healthcare settings, including accreditation preparation, process improvement, and staff training.
  • Commitment to Excellence: A passion for patient safety and a drive to ensure the highest standards of care.

Qualifications at a Glance:

  • Juris Doctor with NYS Bar admission + 5 years of experience in healthcare compliance, or
  • Master’s in Health Administration (or related field) + 5 years in regulatory leadership (3 years in a supervisory role), or
  • Bachelor’s + 7 years of regulatory experience (5 years in a supervisory role).
  • Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be considered.
