Job Description

Our client, a leading provider of pediatric and home health care services, is hiring a Director of Pediatric Program. This vital leadership role offers an exceptional opportunity for a highly skilled professional to shape and oversee specialized pediatric services, ensuring the delivery of compassionate, compliant, and high-quality care for children and adolescents.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the pediatric home health care programs, ensuring compliance with all OPWDD regulations and standards applicable to patients up to 18 years old.
  • Develop and implement program strategies to enhance care quality, patient outcomes, and operational efficiency.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to clinical and non-clinical staff, fostering a collaborative and compliant environment.
  • Assess patient care needs, coordinate initial planning, and ensure timely, accurate documentation across program activities.
  • Stay current with all pediatric-specific regulations, including those related to OPWDD services, and ensure organizational compliance.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on pediatric OPWDD services, advocating for best practices and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Social Work, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • At least 5 years of leadership experience specifically within pediatric health services, with demonstrated expertise in OPWDD regulations and guidelines.
  • Extensive experience in pediatric home health care, with a strong understanding of OPWDD regulations and services related to children and youth up to 18 years old.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to guide multidisciplinary teams and motivate staff.
  • Excellent knowledge of regulatory compliance, documentation standards, and case management processes.
  • Strong strategic thinking and program development capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with healthcare accreditation processes and quality assurance initiatives.
  • Previous experience in senior leadership roles within pediatric health services.
  • Must have a thorough understanding of pediatric OPWDD regulations and services.
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize complex compliance and clinical data.
  • Willingness to stay current on evolving healthcare policies affecting pediatric populations.
