Description: Our client, a provider of exceptional primary and specialty care services at multiple locations in the New York Metropolitan area, is hiring a Director of Nursing, Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH).
Job Responsibilities:
- Directs the daily activities for a designated clinical function to ensure that the business and clinical goals and objectives are achieved
- Develops and implements policies and procedures
- Prepares and monitors the budget
- Manages staff
Job Requirements:
- Valid New York State Registered Professional Nurse License and current registration.
- Baccalaureate degree in Nursing or related field required.
- Master of Science degree in Nursing or related field required preferred.
- Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse.
- Minimum of 4 years management experience required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Effective management skills necessary to organize, direct and evaluate the activities of patient care off shift operations.
- Ability to apply and utilize the balanced scorecard measures (customer service, financial, innovation and growth, and performance improvement).
- Critical thinking and analytic skills necessary for problem solving and clinical decision-making.
