Job Description
Our client, a healthcare system located in New York State's Hudson Valley , is hiring a Chief of Interventional Radiology.
Responsibilities:
- Providing leadership and expertise in Interventional Radiology
- Providing clinical services including the gamut of Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures and IR consultations for the referring services
- Working closely with referring services including the Department of Surgery and the surgical subspecialties to develop and build the IR service
- Providing IR on call services
- Assuring the IR department provides high quality care and participating in the Radiology Department’s Quality Assurance Improvement (QA/PI) program
Requirements:
- Board-Certified in Radiology
- Valid New York State License
- DEA and Medicaid number
- Strong clinical abilities, teaching experience, communication and interpersonal skills
