Description: Hiring an Associate Director of Rehabilitation Medicine for a renowned academic medical center.


  • Perform a full spectrum of general outpatient and inpatient care.
  • Assist the Regional Director with oversight of all aspects of the service and supervision of staff.
  • Dual appointment with our client’s sister hospital and will be expected to cover when needed.
  • Faculty appointment teaching residents, medical students, and performing research.
  • M-F 40-hour week, no weekends or holidays.

Education Requirements:

  • MD
  • Board Certified
  • Valid New York State License
  • DEA
  • Medicaid number

Experience Requirements:

  • Prior management/leadership positions and experience with academic medical centers and/or public health systems is preferred.
  • Experience in teaching and supervision of residents.
  • Electromyography (EMG) knowledge and Musculoskeletal experience.

Desired Skills:

  • A strong interest in research and clinical operations as there are a variety of opportunities for program development and advancement.
  • Strong clinical abilities, teaching experience and interpersonal skills.
  • Electromyography (EMG) knowledge and Musculoskeletal experience.
  • Comfortable in handling residents, attendings, have skills in conflict management, handling clinical quality, and helping other attendings from medical surgical units.
