Our client, a leading provider dedicated to supporting children and families through innovative residential and community-based services, is hiring an Assistant Clinical Director, LCSW for Transitional Services. Responsibilities
- Oversee the engagement and support of youth and their families within the Residential Treatment Facility (RTF), ensuring seamless transition from inpatient care to community living.
- Developing and enhancing program structures, providing clinical supervision to teams, and coordinating with community resources to facilitate successful reunifications.
- Lead joint meetings with community-based agencies to ensure comprehensive support, oversee assessments, and implement individualized plans addressing barriers to discharge.
- Participate in clinical meetings, present updates to leadership, and maintain collaborative relationships with local systems such as DSS, DOE, Medicaid, and others. Managing transitional coordinator caseloads and supervising staff will be key aspects of your role, alongside ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines.
- Travel to families’ homes and work at least one weekend day per week
Requirements
- LCSW certification required
- Minimum of 2 years experience providing direct services or linking children with SED to supportive services
- At least 2 years supervisory or managerial experience in social services
- Strong clinical, organizational, and leadership skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Demonstrated ability to influence, motivate, and build strong relationships internally and externally
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Commitment to principles of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
