Job Description
Our client, a not for profit teaching hospital serving an ethnically diverse residential neighborhood of New York City, is hiring an advanced Gastroenterologist trained in ERCP/EUS.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat complex gastrointestinal disorders
- Conduct thorough medical evaluations, perform advanced diagnostic procedures such as endoscopies and colonoscopies, interpreting test results, and developing personalized treatment plans
- Improve the overall digestive health and well-being of your patients through compassionate and evidence-based care.
- Provision of care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Teach medical students and residents
- Utilize your extensive knowledge and expertise in the field of gastroenterology to provide specialized care to patients
- Participate in research
Requirements:
- MD or DO
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology
- ERCP/EUS trained
- A track record of success in advanced endoscopy (EGD/Stent), clinical care and medical education is preferred
- Advanced endoscopy training is preferred
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS certification
