Job Description

Our client, a nationally renowned academic medical center and integrated healthcare delivery system, is currently hiring an Administrative Nurse Manager.
Responsibilities:
  • Participate in performance improvement/research activities
  • Manage all clinical administrative functions (patient care delivery, fiscal, material and human resources) of nursing unit(s) within a Care Center on a 24-hour basis
  • Create an environment in which autonomy is nurtured, encouraged and reflected in a highly competent workforce capable of providing quality care
  • Facilitate and promote the delivery of Patient/Family Centered Care
  • Management of fiscal, human and other resources to provide appropriate patient care and promote the financial viability of the medical center
  • Identification of actual and potential high-risk situations and quality issues with appropriate intervention as needed including resolution and referral
  • Assessment of patient and family needs
Requirements:
  • Current Registered Nurse license
  • BSN Required
  • Master’s Degree in Nursing or Health related field preferred
  • 5+ years of clinical experience
  • 3+ years management experience required
  • Evidence of excellent interpersonal relationships
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Ability to motivate, develop, and coach individuals and groups
  • Ability to appropriately confront issues and think creatively
