Job Description

Our client, a leading orthopedic and sports medicine practice, is hiring an Accounts Receivables Supervisor/Manager. The ideal candidate will have specialized knowledge in orthopedics and spine, a strong background in Workers' Compensation and No-Fault claims, and be ready to contribute immediately to our team. This role is critical to managing and streamlining our unique A/R processes, which include complex payment collections, the IDR process, and collaboration with attorneys on appeals and arbitrations. We offer a collaborative and supportive work environment where you can apply your expertise to make a significant impact. As part of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the financial health of our practice while helping patients navigate complex insurance and billing challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the Accounts Receivables (A/R) team to ensure timely and accurate processing of payments.
  • Lead A/R operations specific to orthopedics and spine, including claims for Workers' Comp and No-Fault cases.
  • Manage and optimize the IDR (Independent Dispute Resolution) process for payment collections.
  • Collaborate with attorneys to handle appeals, arbitrations, and other legal aspects of claims processing.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve payment collection efficiency and reduce outstanding receivables.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations relevant to Workers' Comp and No-Fault claims.
  • Train and mentor team members, fostering a high-performance work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Accounts Receivables management within orthopedics and spine.
  • In-depth understanding of Workers' Compensation and No-Fault claims processes.
  • Experience working with attorneys on appeals and arbitration cases.
  • Familiarity with IDR processes and other specialized payment collection methods.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with a track record of managing successful A/R teams.
  • Excellent communication skills for both internal and external stakeholder management.
  • Knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations and billing practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a management or director-level role in A/R.
  • Ability to start immediately and adapt quickly to new processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
