Job Description
Our client, a nationally renowned integrated health system, is currently hiring an Accounts Payable Manager. In this role, you will manage the overall operations of the Accounts Payable Department in a busy supply chain department to assure timely processing of payments to vendors, service providers, contractors, etc. for proper flow of goods and services necessary to maintain the health systems operations, including patient care and research. This position is located in Westchester, New York.
Job Responsibilities:
- Increase productivity, increase knowledge of the Accounts Payable procedures—training and feedback to and from employees.
- Manage monthly financial close and financial statement preparation processes.
- Provide continuous training to operating departments on how to complete transactions.
- Maintain payment terms for most vendors and reduction of credit holds at the same time as well as prevent credit holds.
- Set up policies and procedures for the Accounts Payable Department.
- Write policies and guidelines are available to Accounts Payable personnel and the Institution.
- Monitor all expenditures to ensure that the unclaimed property records are correct to minimize exposure to the New York State Office of Unclaimed Funds.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business Analytics, Economics/Statistics, Finance, Business Management, Finance, Healthcare administration or a related field preferred
- Education: Master's Degree required. Five years' experience.
- Must be PC proficient and able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting. Must have strong experience with Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Quality management ability
- Excellent organizational ability

Salary: $82,500.00 - $110,000.00. This range is not a guarantee. The actual salary will be based on qualifications, experience, and education and could fall outside of this range. Contact us for more information.
