Hiring a Revenue Cycle Manager for an accounts receivable management services provider.  The Revenue Cycle Manager is responsible for leading the overall planning, organization, and direction of Outpatient Revenue Cycle Operations Department. 

Responsibilities:     
  • Billing and collections management
  • Maximizing A/R collections
  • Audits to identify and recover underpayments, invalid denials, and contract misinterpretation
  • Policies and procedures development.
  • Management of the Revenue Cycle Operations department, specific to audits, A/R vendor management, contract analysis, customer service
  • Ensure maximized reimbursement to efficiently lower A/R, and speed up revenue cycle.
  • Perform "data mining" and in-depth accounts receivable analysis. 
  • Serve as the primary executive liaison to the client organization.
  • Understand, develop, implement, and analyze key performance measures
  • Collect/analyze payer data to determine denial and underpayment trends.
  • Evaluate eligibility, authorization, billing, and claims processing inaccuracies to implement upstream solutions.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to staff and complete staff performance appraisals.
  • Develop/Update policies and procedures for Revenue Cycle Operations.
  • Produce training tools.
  • Finalize deliverables and present findings to internal and external clients.
  • Manage compliance with governmental and organizational policies and procedures.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’ s Degree in healthcare or accounting/finance related field.
  • 7 years of medical billing experience in implementing and maintaining audit/reimbursement programs that increase revenues.
  • 5 years of managerial experience.
